4 Pinoys killed in car crash in Canada
MANILA (UPDATE) - Four Filipino temporary workers were killed in a car crash in Alberta last Saturday morning, an online report stated.
The CBC.ca report only identified one of the four fatalities as Eva Janette Caperina, 41.
Caperina worked as a nanny and has two teenage children. The report said Caperina’s husband was killed in a motorcycle accident last year.
Caperina was with three other people–two male restaurant workers and another female nanny– when their vehicle hit an icy patch along Highway 21 near Leduc, Alberta.
The car swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into a tractor trailer.
