Mt. Kanlaon Spews Ash and Smoke

The famous Mt. Kanlaon in Negros Island in the Philippines has started to be restless again after spewing ash and smoke today. The Philippine Aviation agency issued a warning to all air crafts to stay away from the volcano as it is deemed dangerous for them.

The famous volcano situated about 510 kilometers away from the capital city of Manila has been showing some sign of activity since November of last year, but this is the most active it has been since then. There has no reports of lava activity.

Mt. Kanlaon last erupted in 1996.
